Why reducing sugar is like going through withdrawal

Sugar is addictive—that’s a fact. Sugar stimulates the brain’s reward system, causing dopamine to be released.

I used to eat sugar constantly myself, both consciously and unconsciously.
Sugar is now found in 90% of all industrially manufactured products.
This means that we all consume far too much sugar, with all the consequences that entails. Unfortunately, sugar has not a single positive effect on the body.

So why go through withdrawal?

A long time ago, I decided to ban sugar from my life. Assuming it couldn’t be that difficult, I went into this adventure rather naively. However, I soon realized that I was dealing with a stubborn opponent.
I chose the radical approach: cutting sugar out completely.

With all the consequences that came with it: headaches, mood swings, cravings, and much more.
But through sheer willpower—and, of course, with the occasional relapse—I did it.

By then, it was clear to me what sugar actually does to us.
That was also the beginning of my mission against sugar, although F*** THE SUGAR also required a pandemic and a stroke of luck.

After successfully coaching my business partner Silvio for three months and helping him overcome his evening cravings, we decided to found Ludwegs OG with the goal of fighting sugar.

We have since helped many people ban sugar from their lives and given them a new lease on life.

However, we soon realized that we did not have enough time to conduct personal coaching sessions.

So we looked for an alternative and, with the help of our medical background, found it in Cravekiller capsules. The results from the test group, which we provided with the capsules and helped raise awareness about sugar, were consistently positive.

That is why we decided to tackle sugar withdrawal in a new way, supported by the capsules, educational materials, a recipe database, and a personal contact for any questions.

This new F*** THE SUGAR sugar withdrawal product will be available online soon, incorporating all our experience.

The most important thing about sugar withdrawal is not to give up, even if you experience a setback—that is completely normal.

Sugar withdrawal is not easy, but what is easy these days? :)

The fact is, a life without sugar is healthier, more fulfilling, and easier.

More on the subject in the next blog post.

Yours, Ludwig
